Piper Casey
Research Associate
Piper joined the Ross Strategic team in 2024, bringing experience in public health, sustainability, waste reduction, and circular economy. She is excited to leverage her expertise in fostering partnerships, strategic planning, and collaborative problem solving to ensure that actions align with values in each project she takes on.
With a degree from the University of Washington's School of Public Health, specializing in Public Health-Global Health, and minors in Law, Societies, and Justice, and Comparative History of Ideas, Piper's academic focus centered on the nexus of human health and the environment through an equity lens.
Prior to Ross, Piper managed partnerships at Ridwell, collaborating with diverse partners to divert post-consumer waste from U.S. landfills. Piper also interned at the City of Mercer Island Public Works department where she focused on implementing key elements of the City’s sustainability initiative and collaborating with other jurisdictions to improve environmental policies and programs.
Piper is committed to empowering individuals, companies, and organizations to make meaningful contributions towards a more equitable and sustainable future.
Outside of work, you can find Piper out for a long run, hiking in the mountains, paddleboarding on the lake, coaching high school track and field, or playing with her Australian Shepherd.
