Jessie Doody
Senior Associate
Jessie Doody rejoined the Ross Strategic team in 2020 as an Associate, having previously worked as a Research Associate from 2016–2018. She is focused on Ross Strategic’s public health work, including support to clients like the CDC, the Kresge Foundation, and The Colorado Health Foundation to develop, implement, or evaluate initiatives and programs that aim to improve human and planetary health, adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change, and advance equitable solutions to these complex problems. In this work, Jessie helps clients articulate objectives, identify gaps and opportunities, set evidence-based strategic direction, and evaluate progress. She enjoys working with diverse and interdisciplinary stakeholders, and brings project leadership and management; clear, cross-cultural communication and facilitation skills; evaluation, research, and analytic capabilities; and population health data expertise to her work.
Prior to joining Ross Strategic in 2016, Jessie was a Princeton in Latin America Fellow at the UN World Food Programme Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, where she supported scaling and implementing resilient, sustainable national social protection programs and policies as mechanisms to promote food and nutrition security in the region. Most recently, Jessie worked for the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME). As part of IHME Client Services, she managed various custom population health modeling projects and facilitated the utilization of IHME's robust population health findings within the private sector to improve health outcomes through better health evidence.
Jessie holds a dual BA in International Studies and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Originally from Bend, Oregon, she’s a Pacific Northwest native and in her spare time she enjoys nearly all of the stereotypical PNW activities this corner of the States is known for.
