Alec Ege
Research Associate
Alec joined Ross Strategic in 2019, where he uses his analytical, research, and communication skills to support projects focused on environmental data management and salmon recovery.
Alec is a recent graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in environmental science and resource management. He previously worked for Seattle City Light within its Science Policy Unit, where he worked closely on the utility’s greenhouse gas management program to ensure that Seattle City Light was operating 100% carbon neutral, as well as with the watershed management program monitoring the salmonid species within the utility’s dammed river. He was also part of a collaborative at the University of Washington’s Climate Group that, with the assistance of the United States Geologic Survey, developed a stream temperature monitoring handbook for watershed managers in the Northwest. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, skiing, and hiking with his partner and cat.
