Haley Morris
Research Associate
Haley joined Ross in 2024, bringing experience in water resources, agricultural systems, and public health. Her passion lies in multi-stakeholder engagement strategies and utilizing community-centered approaches to tackle complex social and ecological challenges to better understand the link between human and natural systems.
Prior to joining Ross, Haley worked as a Program and Sustainability Manager with SOLVE, an environmental nonprofit based in Oregon to foster systems pertaining to watershed restoration and litter abatement projects that supported both ecological and human wellbeing. Haley also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, Africa as an Urban Agriculture Extension Agent, where she worked with local communities to integrate sustainable farming techniques to improve soil and water health and aid in food security and economic development.
Haley holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Western Colorado University as well as a Bachelor of Science in geography with a focus in water resource management and GIS from Portland State University.
New to Washington, Haley is enjoying exploring the natural wonders that the state offers through running, hiking, and paddle boarding alongside the seals and porpoises. She also enjoys going to concerts and watching adventure documentaries.
