Since 2017, Ross Strategic has supported EPA’s Office of Water in building and sustaining America’s Water Sector Workforce Initiative, a collaborative effort with federal partners and major water associations.
Ross Strategic facilitated the original development of the Effective Utility Management Primer in 2008 and led its 2017 and 2024 updates, convening national steering groups, conducting interviews, and synthesizing input to modernize the Ten Attributes and Five Keys framework.
Ross Strategic convened a national workgroup of state clean water and drinking water administrators, to map the existing regulatory and voluntary processes for managing CECs and identify systemic barriers to timely, effective responses.
Ross Strategic facilitated the Water Sector Cybersecurity Task Force, a collaboration among federal agencies, national associations, state entities, and utilities convened by the Water Sector Coordinating Council and Government Coordinating Council.
Ross Strategic serves as the convening partner for the BHP Foundation’s North American Water Network, working with four grantee partners to foster a cross-border community of practice.
