Samer Khan

Samer Khan is an Associate at Ross Strategic with over six years of experience supporting Washington state agencies, U.S. public health organizations, and philanthropy in advancing solutions for the environment and public health. She is a highly skilled project manager and research analyst, with expertise on topics related to environmental health, emergency preparedness, data modernization, ecosystem protection and recovery, and agricultural viability.

Samer’s work often involves designing and facilitating stakeholder engagement processes and conducting data collection and analysis to inform strategic planning, research, and evaluation. She has developed a wide range of products to communicate complex information to diverse audiences—including network maps, data inventories, case stories, and tools for public health education and surveillance. She is passionate about creating space for underrepresented voices and excels at helping teams move forward by fostering organization, clarity, and cohesion. Samer has collaborated with multiple branches and divisions within the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Kresge Foundation, the Puget Sound Partnership, and the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists, among others. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of California, Irvine and is based in Los Angeles, California.
