Shelby Thomas
Associate
Shelby joined Ross Strategic in 2019, shortly after graduating with an MPA from UW’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. Prior to starting at Ross, Shelby worked as a Project Coordinator at the William D. Ruckelshaus Center, where her work related to land use and Washington State’s Growth Management Act.
Shelby’s current projects involve collaborative governance and watershed management: the Chehalis Basin Strategy is an integrated approach to simultaneously reduce chronic flood damage and restore aquatic species habitat in southwest Washington’s Chehalis River Basin. She also works on the Lower Snake River stakeholder process.
When she’s not at work, you’ll likely find her either exploring the Pacific Northwest’s great outdoors, looking for the best croissant in Seattle, reading, riding her green bicycle, or combing through the racks at thrift stores.
