Angela Cruz
Angela Cruz joined Ross Strategic in 2021, where she supports strategic planning, evaluation, and learning efforts for philanthropic and nonprofit organizations. She brings expertise in environmental policy, collaborative facilitation, and portfolio analysis to help clients navigate complexity and make informed decisions. Her recent work includes supporting the Volgenau Climate Initiative, the Colorado Health Foundation, Pew Charitable Trusts, and Climate Investment Funds.
Angela specializes in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), with experience conducting extensive stakeholder interviews and surveys to surface insights and track impact. She regularly facilitates strategic planning sessions, working groups, and community listening events, helping organizations align around shared goals and adapt to changing contexts.
Prior to joining Ross Strategic, Angela held roles with Washington Sea Grant, USAID’s SEA Project in Indonesia, and the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Program. She holds a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Originally from Chicago, IL, Angela enjoys all the PNW has to offer, including paddleboarding, hiking, and vibrant farmers markets.
