Dana Stefan
Dana has over nine years of experience addressing environmental policy issues, with a focus on managing complex multi-stakeholder processes. She has a strong background in collaborative process design and implementation, project management, research, and analysis. Dana has expertise across various environmental areas, including climate adaptation and resilience, climate finance, natural resources asset management, water systems, and circular economy.
In Washington State, Dana supports Kitsap County in developing its first natural resources asset management program and integrating it into existing policies. Her recent projects include partnering with philanthropic organizations to analyze global energy trends, barriers, and opportunities, and conducting scenario planning to explore potential futures that guide strategic climate and development investments. Prior to joining Ross Strategic, Dana spent three years working in a Brussels-based organization representing the European packaging supply chain on environmental issues, with a focus on the European Union’s circular economy strategy and the review of the waste legislation.
Dana holds a master’s degree in public policies from the Free University of Brussels, Belgium, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Political and Administrative Studies, Romania. Outside of work, Dana enjoys running and hiking through the vast wilderness of the Pacific Northwest.
