Courtney Kudera

Courtney joined Ross Strategic in 2024 and has contributed to initiatives including water sector-wide efforts for improved cybersecurity, non-profit strategic planning, nuclear clean-up coordination, sustainable water utility workforce development, and more. She has supported projects from various clients including at the Environmental Protection Agency, National Association of Clean Water Agencies, National Governors Association, Pew Charitable Trusts, and other local, state, and federal organizations. Her work often involves synthesizing stakeholder input, conducting research, translation, and creating communication materials to ensure projects are both well-informed and actionable.

Courtney graduated from Middlebury Institute of International Studies with a master’s degree in international environmental policy focused on natural resources policy and management. While at Middlebury, she had the privilege of working with organizations like The Nature Conservancy, Carmel River Watershed Conservancy, and the City of Monterey. Additionally, she served as a Consultant at the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization at their Latin America and Caribbean office in Santiago, Chile where she analyzed strategic alternatives for climate-smart agriculture production in the region. Her analysis identified alternatives that were climate-smart, accessible, nutritious, and healthy. Courtney also graduated from the University of Wyoming with bachelor’s degrees in international studies and English. She also studied interdisciplinary pre-law and was a part of the honors program.

Out of the office you can find Courtney hiking, skiing, lifting weights, practicing yoga, playing board games with friends, baking, or painting!
