Micaela UndaWorking at the intersection of communication and research, Micaela’s passion is to translate environmental concepts into action-oriented strategies. She enjoys applying her program evaluation skills to climate-related projects at Ross.

Micaela graduated from Duke University in environmental science and policy, English, and biology. Her academic work focused on environmental communication and international sustainable development. Prior to Ross Strategic, Micaela worked at Alameda County and at the City of Redmond focusing on climate action in local government. Her work included increasing adaptability to extreme heat through green infrastructure and building community capacity to develop resilience in response to climate change. She has also worked to incorporate an equity lens into climate action planning and policy on a city and county level.

Out of the office, you can find Micaela rock-climbing, skiing, hiking, searching for sunshine, exploring botanical gardens, and coffee shop hopping.
