Tristan Márquez

Research Associate

Tristan joined Ross Strategic in 2021 and brings a strong background and interest in climate change and sustainability with a compliance perspective. He has extensive experience conducting research on political, regulatory, and environmental issues throughout Latin America, Europe, and Africa. He also has significant experience in equity work and is passionate about the intersection of environmental justice and social movements.

Prior to joining Ross, Tristan worked on supply chain sustainability and compliance in the Brazilian manufacturing sector. He also worked in São Paulo and New York as a compliance and due diligence researcher focusing on Latin American investigations. Lastly, Tristan worked as teacher in Brooklyn where he cultivated a profound interest and knowledge in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Tristan has full professional proficiency in Spanish and Portuguese and is based in Ross Strategic’s Austin, Texas office. In his free time, he likes to participate in any kind of outdoor activity, go to any kind of live music show, cook with friends, and dance to any kind of music.
